Good grog

Having a few drinks tonight .. day off tomorrow! Woop Woop.
Recommended this one before I am sure but its £24 in Asda ffs. Quite ridiculous. This is really good, unique, heritage-intact and frankly insanely cheap whisky. I believe the technical term is 'well managed'. I drink it neat but if you add ice (not water) you'll get a heavy dose of peach/clementine.

What you lot guzzling tonight*?

* Tomorrow, next thursday ..

Re: Good grog

Couple of glasses of red - "Palastri" says the bottle. It's Primitivo apparently (which sounds great, doesn't it?). Very nice - reminds me of holiday in Italy.

Re: Good grog

Never had that tbh. Which is wrong! I do like a bit of red. Used to like Shiraz but as I got older it started giving me wicked hangovers. So switched to Merlot. Australian by pereference but that stuff just seems to go down too easy once you've got used to spirits heh. I'll check it out anyway. Sainsbury's does it for a fiver a bottle. What could possibly go wrong?! :)
